This book is about a young couple named Hilde and Erich. One is a Christian and the other is a Jew. They have a daughter named Yvonne that owns a book publishing firm. Their lives are about the change when Hitler rises to power. And everything in their lives are now major hardships. They are feared for their lives because of the Nazis.
Hilde returns to Germany with daughter Yvonne. And Erich goes to Palestine. They contemplate if they will every see each other again.
This story is filled with many trials and tribulations. A well-written story about hope,pain and many hardships.
