This was quite an interesting fantasy story!
The story is about a 400 plus year old farmer named Jedediah that happens to be a wizard. He has a 50 year old daughter that is half wizard,half elf. She doesn't fit in with the other elves. Jedediah's farm is considered a safe haven for individuals to stay. He protect others from the outsiders trying to get in. He only allows tokens or passes to individuals that are allowed there. No troublemakers!
There is a group of mean individuals that want to accuse him of murder. They want him to go to jail,so they can take over his sacred land.
I quite enjoyed this book. It was filled with fun and likeable characters.
A great book for fantasy fans!
