The book is about a forbidden girl named Elida. She is forbidden because the Nazi prohibited births by Jewish individuals. And they are usually executed when defying these laws.
Her parents gave her to another to raise, when she was only 3 months old. Elida's parents are later executed by Nazi's.
Elida went through so much to find her true identity. An amazing story that would bring a tears to your eyes. She showed great strength after being tossed to multiple different families and finally realizing the truth about her existent. I couldn't believe this was a real person. I truly inspired to know she never gave up on life.
