Two Sides of Me by Nora Sarel BOOK REVIEW

A mysterious girl birthed him, but couldn’t raise him

Armed with an adoption diary written by his father and a picture of a young girl, Gadi searches for his roots in Brazil. He hunts down clues about the identity of his biological mother and wants to know what had happened that made her give him up and what is her life like.

Gadi learns about Brazil’s adoption process and retraces the steps of his own adoption journey; from the arms of a young girl who could not raise him, to the arms of his adoptive parents who looked forward to his arrival.

While traveling with two friends in Brazil, Gadi discovers shocking facts about his past and meets surprising people, who help him in his most important life quest.

Will it be enough to solve all his unanswered questions?

MY REVIEW:

Two Sides of Me by Nora Sarel will take you on a journey that is both uplifting and heartwarming.

Gadi was adopted at the age of two months in Brazil by his adopted parents from Israel. Now, in his early twenties, he goes with his friends on a journey to find his biological mother by using the adoption journal that his father wrote decades ago.

The author made this book very hard to put down. I really enjoyed reading the journey of Gadi on the quest to find his biological mother.

I highly recommend this book!
